Last week, we found out that Rosie O’Donnell has a new girlfriend. The girlfriend’s name is Tracy Kachtick-Anders, and she sounds pretty cool, quite honestly. She’s an artist, a doula, an adoptive mother and a gay rights activist, so she sounds pretty much right up Rosie’s alley. After photos were taken of Tracey and Rosie holding hands and Rosie’s rep confirmed the relationship quickly. Now, Rosie and her former partner Kelli Carpenter just announced their split recently, although Rosie later claimed Kelli had moved out two years ago. It’s thought that Rosie and Tracy’s relationship began sometime last year, and has picked up some steam the past few months. And now Rosie is confirming that her new girlfriend is “yummy.”
How is Rosie O’Donnell’s new romance going? Just rosy.
On her Sirius XM radio show “Rosie Radio” Monday, she described Tracy Kachtick-Anders — an artist and mother of six — as a “lovely, lovely, lovely, lovely person.”
She also called their relationship “yummy. I love it all … It’s almost too good to be true!”
Still, she said she was surprised at all the attention they’ve received since they stepped out holding hands in Miami Dec. 29. “I had no idea that it would be on CNN,” O’Donnell, 47, said of her new relationship. She then mocked a television announcer: “‘Rosie has a new girlfriend – tonight at 6.'”
Added O’Donnell, “It’s odd for me … and quite odd for Tracy.”
She is relieved people know, though. “Now I don’t have to worry about not saying it for four hours a day,” she said, explaining how she can now talk openly about her new romance on her show.
It appears O’Donnell’s children (she has four with ex-partner Kelli Carpenter) have already met Tracy’s kids.
“[10] kids at your house your 4 gf’s 6 + Ellis?” a Rosie.com reader asked Sunday on her web site Rosie.com.
“Yes,” Rosie noted.
In October, O’Donnell announced that she and Carpenter had called it quits.
“We have different styles of living,” she later explained to Howard Stern. “I’m very messy. She’s very not.”

I know Rosie evokes strong feelings, both of love and hate, so I won’t go on and on about how Rosie sounds happy and deserves to some happiness in her life, although I do believe that. I hope for Rosie’s sake Tracy is cool with some publicity, because now that Rosie has opened the floodgates, who knows what will come out.
